Monique's words echoed inside her head like a monk repeatedly ringing a gong. Questions instantly swam in her mind, waiting to be answered. She took secret glances on the handsome guy, and still don't know if she also feels the same way. She shook her head. No, this is too fast. Besides, she was a conservative girl, she should not do the first move. The guy should.
Anne continued thinking about this guy, deciding if she'll get him or not.

"Professor Kendra! You're going to substitute this class? AWESOME!" Anne piped up and instantly went to the front desk and started talking to the professor about a bunch of things- totally forgetting her best friend and the man who is staring at her.

Name: Ashleigh
Professor of: Transfiguration!

She turned her head and saw a friend of hers, writing something on his parchment. Oh well. It must have been her imagination. There was no way Kevin Anderson, the guy who almost excelled in everything could be staring at her. She wasn't worthy enough for him, he was too attractive for her. She couldn't even believe he was the same guy whom she had saved from bullies three years ago.
People do change a lot.

"Once upon a time, there are two farmers who both own a field. It's scorching hot and whatever they do, rain won't come. One by one, their plants died because of no water. They keep praying and praying for rain to come but it looks like the Father has no plans. The two farmers still continued planting, determined that the Father will send rain down. But to no avail, no rain still came until the first farmer finally gave up and stopped planting on his field. But the second farmer still continued, telling himself that at least he'll be prepared when rain will come. One day, the second farmer is about to give up too, but then he feel something cold fell from the sky. He looked up and slowly rain poured down- drops and drops of cold rain water." Anne continued," So you see, each people has only two choices- be the first farmer or the second one. I suggest that we should be on the second one, when the rain did come, he was prepared to receive the blessing God sent him. I hope you do understand now why we're still only fifth years and I'm already thinking of the future- planning to be exact." Anne gave her best friend another bright smile and got lost in her own thoughts.
Sometimes, Anne couldn't help but to ponder if she was on the right house. She was artistic, check. Unpredictable, check. Wants to improve herself, check. A daydreamer, hopeless romantic, and loves romance. But fail to see things for what they truly are and not one of the most analytical person? Wrong. IF that was the case, then, she shouldn't have a best friend who hides her emotion, a best friend who is actually kind and gently inside. She still remembered when they were first years, they just met during the DADA class. It was one of those not so nice meetings but since then, they always met up everywhere. Corridors, hallways, Great Hall, infirmary, classes- where the one was, the other was there. At first Anne thought it was just a coincidence but the other thought she was a stalker, following her around. Anne smiled at the thought. The typical Moni thinking she was a stalker. But still, they felt drawn to each other like they were destined to be best friends and Anne took the first move- she asked Monique to be her friend. And then, what happened next was quite a blur. Oh well. Maybe she'll remember it later.
She loves gathering knowledge, reading lots and lots of books and changes herself for the better. She was very emotional, letting others see what she feels, another personality of hers that made the Sorting Hat sort her in the Papillonlisse house even if there were other qualities they have that Anne doesn't.
She was proud to be in her house, but sometimes, she couldn't help but to wonder if she was on the right house. She can also be described as a Bellefeuille- loyal, brave, book smart, caring, sensitive to other people's needs... She also had a strong connection with nature! She appreciate everything around her- the fresh air filling her lungs, the fragrance of various of kinds of flowers around, the soft and faint sound of flowing waters on the lake... She also knows how to read emotions! She can be a Bellefeuille, but the Sorting Hat still sorted her in Papillonlisse, maybe because she was not fond of sports like the Bellefeuille.
And on Ombrelune, she is cunning. Ok, she looked like an innocent girl who is a rule follower but there was one exception in it, she always broke one rule- sneaking around the school at night. She loves going to the restricted section on the library, reading things she never knew before. She also love reading about different kinds of curses, hexes and jinxes, memorizing everything that she think will be helpful in the future. But she is not cold, the only thing that was out of place if she'll be in Ombrelune. But even so, she can also be cold, she'll eventually find a way to be like that if she was sorted to that house. Anne is a very persuasive and determined girl. She will do whatever it takes to reach her goals, anything at all. She was also a leader, and if no one believes her, she'll eventually find a way to prove to everyone that she was one.
Anne shook her head. She shouldn't be thinking about this. She was on the Papillonlisse house for four years already! And this was her fifth year! How could she think of the other houses and some possibilities if she were in there?
She suddenly got an interest on her wand, English oak 12 and a quarter inches with the core of the phoenix feather. Having the core of the phoenix feather in the Beauxbaton was very rare for these kind of cores were for students studying in Hogwarts, the other rival school of the academy.
And speaking of Hogwarts, she had read a lot of it before, how it works, the rules, teachers, professors and most known students and more. Of course she won't be able to read a whole book about Hogwarts if she won't check out the Restricted Section. Since then, she had always thought what would happen if she was studying in Hogwarts not in Beauxbaton. Oh well. Someday that time will come where she'll be able to see Hogwarts and even if she won't be able to study there, she'll still visit and know its curriculum. Who knows, maybe it's better than Beauxbaton.

Professor Mortem dismissed them and they proceeded to their next class.
In the hallways, Anne turned to Moni. "What's our next class?"
