66161 What I now know to be Cosmic Ordering was initially as alien to me as speaking Martian. The basic idea is that all things in the universe are intertwined; all reality, physics and metaphysics are one. We’ve all heard it said in the intro to the original Star Trek TV series … words to the effect of “time, space”, etc. Maybe Captain Kirk of the S.S. Enterprise was ahead of his time.

The thought of utilizing energy for my own good has always fascinated me. Look how often we hear stories of how ‘faith’ healers use their energizing hands to detect and heal illness – it is cosmic surgery. They, the healers, are using the energy of motion to create a healing technique believed to be as old as the hills. Once it was scoffed at as nothing more than quackery, but all that has now changed.
The energy of life is all around us, we cannot deny this. Believers of any religion must believe in the unseen. They must open their minds to the possibility that just because something is not physically there in front of them, does not mean it does not exist. Whereas the scientist wants tangible proof that something exists, the religious person has more of an open mind.

What do you think?
66161 We have to look at how some churches are offering HIV healing and are claiming to cure HIV and the deaths resulting from this in order to understand the difference between Cosmic Ordering and religion. HIV healing has sprung up in some churches around the world, and particularly in the UK cities of London, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham. At least six people have died in Britain, having been instructed by pastors to stop taking their HIV medication, yet the churches are still able to continue doing this. Imagine if half a dozen people died as a result of a Cosmic Ordering practitioner telling someone with HIV that they could stop taking their treatment! Lisa Power, policy director of the Terrence Higgins Trust, said: “There is no Ofcom for religion. People can claim what they like and it’s up to you whether to believe them. Believing anything else will lead to misery and an early, unpleasant death.”
66161 Prayer has been compared to placing a Cosmic Order, but that is as far as it goes. Prayer is a form of communication in thoughts or words with a god. Some place a great deal of stock in the power of prayer, and why should we knock it so long as it gives some form of solace. The thing is, you can be made to feel guilty for your success, and then you are continuously offering prayer in thanks for what you have right now.
