Third Place is indeed going to host our book club via Zoom this month. They have set up a pre-registration for us, please register here https://us04web.zoom.us/meeting/regis..., there will be a waiting room when we log in on Monday the 20th at 7pm and Kim from Third Place will let us all into the discussion. We are their first online book club, so there may be some hiccups, but I’m so excited to see you all and finally talk about Dune. And I love the possibility of people who have moved away being able to join us again. Anyone who wants to should invent their own Dune-inspired cocktail!

Hello fellow Booze and Lasers-ers,
At December’s meeting we decided that in addition to our February pick, Redshirts by John Scalzi, we would also select Dune by Frank Herbert for March. Redshirts seems like it will be a fairly quick read, so ideally we’ll all have a bit of extra time to enjoy Dune. Third Place Books Seward Park will have both books ready with the 20% discount at the January meeting discussing The Toll.
