Des jumped slightly before laughing. The navy thing felt like a cool casting around her hand, but it also felt like it was constantly moving. She watched it in awe as it shaped to her hand as she moved it.
Des blinked a few times before plopping down on her bed. "By the way, tell anyone I'm half blind and your dead," she growled.
Des yanked her arm back, "Moving my bed," she said simply. Her blind eye wasn't exactly something she liked to talk about.
Des walked over to her bed and sat down. Within seconds she realized something dreadful. The beds were set up so they were parallel with the door. With a sigh she got up and started pushing her bed into the top left corner, turning it vertical. This way she could angle herself so she could see, despite her blind eye.
Is that really such a good thing? Des thought to herself, but quickly shook the whisper from her mind. "I guess if it works," she said with a light shrug.
"Hm," Des murmered with a nod before turning back around. Her eyes were trained on something far away, out the window. "So, that thing thats floating in the air right now...what is it?" she asked. Despite Des's natural rejection of conversation, curiosity won.
Des finally finshed unpacking. She closed the last drawer with a faint smile. Now that THATS out of the way, she thought to herself before turning back towards Nerezza. "So, whats your name?" she asked, meeting his eyes rather than look at the thing incasing his arm.
Des watching Nerezza for a momment, a hint of curiosity shining in her smokey eyes. But she did't ask what it was, just went back to her duffle bag and began to unpack.
"Don't worry, I'll corporate. Just don't expect a smile to be plastered on my face," Des said with a grunt.
Des glanced over her shoulder at him, her look suggesting that she was shocked he was still here. "I don't have much of a problem. Just don't partically enjoy others company," she said with a shrug.
"Des," she said before breezing past him, her body language clearly screaming she didn't care to have a conversation. She lazily threw her duffle bag of cloths onto one of the beds before going to look out the window. Nice view I guess... Des thought to herself.
Des slowly opened the door to her new dorm. Apparently her partner was already here, and she wasn't partically looking forward to meeting him. She wasn't exactly social...or very nice. With the door out of the way, Des had a clear veiw of Nerezza. A sigh blew threw her parted lips. This would be fun...
