Y The Last Man has been on my to-read list. Looks interesting, and love the concept. And Eve, I read some of the Dresden Files books years ago...they were alright. What Dresden books are you reading Eve?

I'm always up for something, (and am usually reading both types) but I think interest has died down. But I'm up for trying again if we have a few peeps

I wish I had access to the Lending library :( Good idea though. Hopefully a few people can give you some suggestions

Yeah, totally. I think most of the other have read ahead to Mockingjay as well. I think there's enough of us that we'll have to. Are you going to join us on Sunday for the Google+ hangout?
Eve wrote: "I think I enjoyed Catching Fire better than The Hunger Games. The story seemed to flow much more smoothly, and the introduction of all of the new characters really made the world much more interes..."I wasn't big on the end either, but I do think the story was better. During the first half of the book I wasn't sure where the story was going. But that was ok. The story was still really interesting even though there wasn't much happening. The the big twist with the games happen and the author wasted no time getting them into the arena. I agree with you though, the ending was really abrupt! (So I went ahead and read Mockingjay early ;)

Here's the dates for our next g+ chat. Hope you all can join us!
"Catching Fire" will be on Sunday, March 4, at 3pm PST

Pretty good overall. I really like they way the story was told. Some of the transitions were really clever. I really liked how they told two stories at the same time too. Some parts because a little slow though and kinda dragged on, but I think by the end of the book all was redeemed itself. I'm really looking forward to watching the movie once again now that I have more back story.

Hope everyone has finished reading! Here's the dates for our first g+ hangout.
The Hunger Games: January 31, 6pmPST/9pmEST
The Watchmen: January 31, 6:30pmPST/9:30pmEST
We'll post a link here at these times to join in.
We will also announce our new book and graphic novel for February in the chat so vote soon on the g+ page!

Works for me. I just hope I like the first two ;)

Sounds good to me - I don't hear any other ideas. I was hoping to get more of a vote...but it looks like lots of peeps bailed

I vote for two a month - it really isn't that much to read.
