Six bit his lip. "This is going to sound awful, but do you want me to finish you off? I don't want to make you do anything, but this is just going to get worse..."

"I'm sorry, okay?!" Six snarled. A sad look entered his eyes as he sat near her. "I was just afraid that you were going to hurt me too..."

Six closed the door behind them and smiled. "See? Perfectly safe."

((I have to deal with her on a day-to-day basis.))
"... You're remembering something. Marie won't like that, nor will the Game Keepers."

((Tobe is in the hallway. Now that song is stuck in my brain!))

"Believe me, the thing in here is much safer than the other creatures, and it would appear to not even be here." He paused, then sighed. "I'm sorry, girl."

((Let's go with that... XD))

Tobe glanced around. It was so dark, and it felt as if it was only growing darker. A small bubble of laughter escaped his lips. It felt nice, so he laughed some more. Where was he? Who cares? He laughed hysterically, falling to the ground and curling up.

For once Six ignored Lorelei. He took Eve's free hand gently and led her upstairs. "I know where you can rest, I'll make sure the freak in there calms it down so we can get some rest."
((To the bedroom!))

Six hissed and stepped back. "Fine, fine. Come on, Eve. Can you walk?"

"Hurry." He scooped Eve into his arms. "Let's go before she kills us both."

Six glanced from Eve back to the Cold Compress Lady. "I- I won't."

Six nodded hastily, he certainly didn't want that. "We were simply making a deal. Would you rather have me kill her?"

Six froze. No, not her. "Yes?"

"I- I don't want..." He removed his claws and whispered in her ear. "Make it look like a fight."

Something in Six was terrified. He hated this, all of this. "I- I can't... Not... anymore..."

A manic gleam entered Six's eyes. He drove his claws quickly through Eve's hand, pinning it to the stair below. "Lies." He hissed. "Lies. Lies. Lies. Lies. Lies. Lies... All humans are the same."

Six snarled, crouching back. "Knew it. No human is nice to a monster without a reason. Oh, I'll enjoy killing you."

Six felt his heart go fast and he turned away blushing. This isn't what you are, Six. You're a monster, there is no happy ending. Show her. Tear her words out, rip that beautiful face to pieces. "...I don't know."
