{Wait, why would Violet be at the castle?}Bella waved her hand. "Oh, forget her. You're far more interesting," she whispered, leaning into him.
Violet smiled again. "Really? That's so cool! And incredibly nice. I'm sure the poor appreciate it." They arrived at the beach, and she pulled a blanket out of her messenger bag. "This book is a collection of fantasy adventure short stories. Do you want me to read one, and then I can go through it with you a second time, so you know what the story I'll teach you to read should sound like?" Violet sat down on the blanket and flipped to the first story.
Violet smiled. This could be fun."Violet. I hope you like fantasy adventures, because that's the only book I brought with me. So...what do you do? You know, like, I run the book shop/cafe."
{Hey Frances, can you be Robert in the Robert/Bella scenes?}Bella swept into the room, and was pleased to see a prince as the first arrival. She caught Neil by the hand as he tried to leave.
"Oh, thank you so much, Neil, for inviting our guest in!" she said in her sweetest voice. "Trust that I'll call for you if I need anymore help," Bella finished, kissing him on the cheek.
Bella turned and stuck her hand out to Robert. He kissed it lightly. "Good day, princess," he said quietly.
"The pleasure is mine, Robert," she said, giving him a wink. "Come, I'll show you the courtyards." She offered her arm, and he took it. "You know, Robert, you have the most gorgeous eyes, " she said, batting her long eyelashes. "And a wonderful smile," Bella said, giving her best seductive smile.
Violet took in a sharp breath. Couldn't read? How could one live and not read?! Plus, he looked so...unlike most guys, she was hoping they could become friends. Someone else who was "weird" like her."Would you like...Would you like me to teach you? We could start today...at the shore. That's where I'm going now..." she said, toying with the pages of the book.
Robert sighed as they roamed through the town center. There was nothing nice to get. He and the driver finally settled on a glittering bracelet for the queen, a book on philosophy for the king, and a set of jeweled hair pins for the princess. After checking out, Robert scowled and boarded the coach again. He ran his hand through his hair, bracing himself for the princess.
{Thanks!}Violet walked, distracted, through the market to make it to the shore. Her hair was pulled back with a black silk ribbon. She was reading a book while walking, and then accidentally ran into the skinny boy who was running through the market.
{Excuse me?! SD!!!!! That's completely counterproductive! Make another prince for the ball, or a villager, or an evil dude!!!}
Appearance: Slightly long, wild black hair, deep blue-gray eyes, long, nimble fingers, average height, fairly skinny
{Okay, I'm transitioning to the coach of Prince Robert.}Prince Robert sat stiffly in the stuffy and ornate coach. He dreaded going to this stupid annual ball. It was always boring, they always arrived early, and the princess was always there. At least he had a reputation of being thoughtful and silent. It made it easier to be anitsocial.
{Poor Neil!}Bella waited for a few more minutes before ringing the bell for a servant. {Cue the entrance of the servant}
{Ha ha, "frememies". I can foreshadow much heartbreak during this ball! I think we should put off the ball until all the people who've been invited to the group make Charries.}
{Ah ha ha haaaa! That was an amazing line!}Bella gave Neil a kiss on the cheek as he left the Peach Sitting Room. She thought it was quite fun to play with the servants. It was a bit of entertainment in a boring castle. She flounced on the nearest settee. She thought the peach colour of the room accented her dress quite nicely.
The cook sighed {minor roles can be swapped and taken at any time}. "I know, Neil. You just have to graciously ignore it. Say thanks and no more."
