Bella shook her head. "No! It's fine. I don't mind...It's kinda cute..." she added.

Bella sighed and slipped under the covers, still sitting up a bit so she could watch Max.
"You're kinda an obvious starer," she joked, her eyes sparkling.

{Dur. Whoopsies!}

As Damien spoke, more silent tears ran down Violet's face. She pushed them away angrily. Why did she have to cry?! It wasn't the end of the world. Someone else would turn up.
"I guess,"
She sniffled. Then she nodded got up, pulling on her dress. "Can we get the snicker doodle cupcakes?" she asked quietly.

Bella shook her hand away loosely so she could pull the curtains back, revealing the stars and moon. She liked sleeping with them open. She sat on the bed, motioning for him to sit with her before brushing her hair.

Bella threw the thing on the ground. "I hate that thing. It's so uncomfortable," she said, stretching her hands up and taking a few deep breaths. She examined her waist in the mirror. "I do look a tad pudgy without it, though..." She shrugged and pulled on her nightie.

Bella took the back way up to her tower, and quietly shut her door. She led Max to a chair in the corner before she pulled a nightgown from her walk-in closet. She pulled her tunic and leggings off before calling to Max. "Will you unlace my corset? No one was here to unlace it before," she said.

{Uhhh...I'unno. Should we wait for Kyra?}

Violet shook her head again, a tear rolling down her face from her big eyes, which were still very teal from being in the water. "Corrin. He doesn't-He doesn't like me anymore. I thought. I thought maybe we could have something special."

Bella smiled and took his hand, liking the fact that his was rougher and bigger and seemed to protectively swallow hers. She looked up at the sky as they walked, admiring the stars and moon.

Bella waved her hand dismissively. "You forget-I am the princess. Everyone will turn a blind eye if I want. Plus, people will still be in the ball room, or just completely drunk."

Bella nodded. "We can walk back to my tower," she yawned.

{Walking back, I was thinking.}

Bella didn't want to go back, but her feet carried her there anyway.
"Max, will you stay with me while I fall asleep?" she murmured, staring into his eyes.

Bella bolted up, wholeheartedly alarmed. "Max?" she yelled, her eyes wide as she stared at his. "What's going on?!"

{Awwww. I was kinda looking forward to seeing what Max would make her do...}

Violet shook her head. "I had another one of those 'humans suck' moments," she said quietly.

Bella frowned. "But...You wouldn't want to disappoint me, would you," she asked, pouting. She cupped her hand around his head, ignoring the rustling and turning his face to hers.
