Prizes will be available for pickup at the Library from this Tuesday, except for the copies of "Educated", which will not be available until August 29th.

To officially register for our 2019 Adult Summer Reading Program
1. Just post below with your first name. If you want to share what you're reading, that's great!
2. Then, just add each book you finish to our group's 2019 Summer Reading bookshelf, and we'll total everything up for you. Make sure you fill in the start and completion dates.

The summer reading program will officially run from June 25th through August 16th. Only books started on or after June 25th and marked as completed by the end of the day August 16th will count towards your official tally.
For each book that you complete during this time frame, you will receive one raffle ticket that will be entered into the tiered prize drawing.
For this program's purposes, the book count/prize tiers are:

1-3 $15. Books and Greetings gift card
3-5 $25. Books and Greetings gift card
5+ $50. Books and Greetings gift card
In addition, there will be a general raffle at the end of the program for four copies of "Educated" by Tara Westover

How do we know how many books you read?
Once you have completed a book, add the book to the group's bookshelf by scrolling to the bottom of the page and adding the title. Be sure to add reading start and finish dates to your entry too.

Earn Extra Credit
We want to know what you thought of the books you read. Get a little "extra credit" by writing a review of any or all of the books you read- we'll bump up your count by one for each review you write.

The Closter Public Library Adult Summer Reading Program on Goodreads is
returning for its second season! The program will run from June 26th through August 14th.

OK. I see the problem: you're looking at the little menu on the side, but it's not there. Instead, look at the whole page.
Scroll down past "Currently Reading"
past "Discussion Board"
past "Events"
past "Members"
and beneath "upcoming Reads" you will find "add books". Click on that.
Hope this helps. You are not the only one - it's not intuitive.

Some people have been having trouble saving books to the group and to the 2018 summer reading shelf. Here's a walk-through.
1. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
2. Click on "Add Books".
3. Use search box to locate the book you wish to add.
4. Click on "add to group"- a box will pop up.
5. Choose Shelves- use dropdown to choose "Read" and "2018 Adult Summer Reading " .
6. Choose start and finish dates- make sure they are between June 25th and August 16th.
7. Write a quick review if you like.
8. Click the "Save Group Book" button.

Only books started on or after June 24 and marked as completed by end of the day August 19 will count towards your official tally.
