"Good, good," Avery said with a grin.

For the rest of the time Jared was working, he thought about Liz. So she likes him? Would she possibly date him? How much time would she need because of Marcus?

"It's only weird if you make it!" Avery pointed out.

Jared smiled broadly, "Sure! Sounds great," he said.

Avery thought for a moment. "Well, I lov chinese food," she said with a laugh.

"Well," Jared said before clearing his throught. With an exaggereated motion her oukked down his sleeve and looked at the watch on his wirst. "In about 15 minutes."

Avery smiled, "Alright," she said happily.

Jared once again blushed before smiling shyly. "Thanks," he said quietly.

Avery giggled, "Inviting a girl over to their own house? I wonder how that'll work out."

"I don't think he will. I mean, how can you resist something so cute as Bear?" he said.

"I'll have to ask Jared about it first," she said with a smile.

"And heres your change Miss," Jared said with a boyish smile, handing Liz her money.

Jared smiled and went to the cash register, scanning all the items. "And your total comes out to 22.09" he said.

Avery laughed, "Oh, alright," she said.

"Yep! You just gotta walk him at least two times a day...but if he really has to go he should just run to the door," Jared said.

Avery shook her head, "No, not really. I think it would be fun."

Jared smiled at her, "Awesome! You need anything else?" he asked.

"Why?" Avery asked curiously. Even though they are brother and sister, it couldn't be that awkward.

"Bear has two favorites right now," Jared said as he walked back over to the pen. He took out the toys, which was a squeaky bone and a stuffed elephant that obviously squeaked as well.

Avery laughed, "Maybe we could doube date," she said with a wink.

"Unfourtanatly anything that squeaks," Jared said with a chuckle.

"So, you think Liz likes Jared anyways?" Avery asked, just wanting to break the silence.

Jared pointed to a bag on the shelf, "Well, that's what he's already being fed so you might as well stick tothe same thing. Plus, it's one of the cheapest."

Avery began to eat her icecream quietly.

"Course," Jared said with a grin.

Avery smiled, "Sorry," she said. Maybe she had overreacted.

Jared's face almost instantly turned a bright shade of red. "Oh, uh...hehe...thanks," he rambled.

AVery scowled, "Hey! I thought I was paying," she said with a sigh. Quickly she took the money out of her pocket and placed it in Damon's hand.

"No need," he said, holding up a hand, smiling back happily.

Avery nodded, "That's a close second on my list."

Jared beamed broadly, "Why thank you," he said with a laugh.

Avery thought for a second, "Strawberry."

"Only for a good friend like you," he said with a chuckle. Technically the puppy wasn't "free" Jared was just going to pay for him.

Avery smiled triumphitly when Damon didn't object to her paying.

Jared was quiet for a moment, "Would he still be upset if it was free?" he asked.

Avery smiled, "Alrighty. I'll pay for this one."

Jared nodded, "All of em have names," he said.

Avery giggled, wrapping her arms around Damon's waist as they walked.

Jared looked around before smiling. "It seems like Bear likes you," he said, gesturing to a puppy that had stayed by Liz the entire time.
