Jared just laughed, "Can't reveal my secerets, can I?" he said with a little wink. He then stood and walked out the door.

"It was okay I guess," Jared said with a shrug. "Although I like it here better," he siad with a grin.

"I've been there," Jared said with a smile. He had been to many MANY different places, with many different foster family's.

"Where'd you come from?" Jared asked.

"Nah, it's cool," Jared said. "So, you guys moved here recently?" he asked curiously. Jared just wanted to know more about her.

"Oh no, it's fine. It's not really a sensitive subject or anything like that," Jared said truthfully.

"Not technically, although I guess shes the closest thing to family I'll ever have. Her and I live in the orphange together, and have been best friends for as long as I can remember," Jared said with a shrug.

Jared chuckled, "Yeah, I figured that out. Although him "liking" my type of music doesn't make me let my guard down. I'm still watching him like a hawk," he said with a little wink.

"Well, I'm glad I could be of some assistance," he said with a laugh. "Oh, and just saying, I don't think Damon would rub the fact that he might of been a teensy bit right in your face. I mean, older brothers are jerks, but they do have a heart...sometimes," Jared said with a smile.

"Well, I didn't see anyone else coming up here to see if they could help," he said with a shrug.

"I always do," Jared muttered with a shake of the head. "But, I'm just waiting for the day when someone breaks his heart. Suppose thats something to look forward to," he said with a chuckle.

"Well, I like to think I'm a good judge of character. But honestly, anyone could just glance at you and tell your an extrodinary girl," Jared said before looking her in the eye. "Oh, and trust me, you're not a whore or a slut. I know you feel like one, but you're far from it," he added.

"Please don't apologize. You have nothing to be sorry for. Listen, I know Marcus hurt you. And I know you probably really liked him. But I also know your
way to good for an asshole like him. You deserve a guy that knows how to treat his lady. Someone amazing, spectacualar, loving, and all that good stuff. Nothing less," Jared said before sitting down on the bed next to her.

Jared scratched thge back of his neck. Obviously Liz worked differently than Avery. "Sorry, I was just trying to help you like I do Avery. It helps her when I take her mind off of the issue and then we sort it out later when shes ready. But I suppose you're not like that," he said with a sheepish smile.

Jared walked hesitantly towards her, wracking his brain for something to say. "So uh...the weathers nice. My favorite kind of day today. Warm with a cool breeze. Yep, its great. OH! You see that one football game yesterday? Probably not, I doubt you like sports. I sure as hell don't. I mean, to much effort. And golf? BOR-ING! I mean seriously, how do those guys stay awake? You hit a ball with a stick, big deal..." he said. Jared was honestly just rambling, trying to distract Liz from the problem at hand. Thats what seemed to help Avery. Getting her mind off of things and sort them out later when she was ready.

Jared poked his head through the door, surveying the scene. "Alright, before I say anything I swear I'm not a creep, stalker, OR rapist!" he yelped before walking in.

"Actually, this isn't Damon. I'm Jared, pleased to meet you girl behind the door," he said softly.

Avery shrugged, "Jared knows how to cheer people up. And I doubt Liz wants to see either of us..." she said.
Jared easily picked out the door to Liz's room. It was the one with the sounds of crying comeing through it. He walked up to it slowly, thinking of how to do this. He decided to knock softly on the hardwood.

"I want to talk to her," Jared said hesitantly. He looked at Damon and Avery fr a second befre swiftly leaving the room and heading towards the stairs. Jared honestly had no idea what he would say, but hopefully he could think of something amazing on the spot.

((poor liz! :o))
Jared glanced up in the general direction of where the sound came from. Knowing Liz was hurt just made him hurt. The thought of that cute face soked in tear made him want to cry also. If only there was some way he could comfort her without seeming like a complete and utter creep.
Avery looked down, thinking of the time when Marcus had hurt her. He did practically the same thing. told her she meant the world to him, fucked her, and then left. Not even breaking up with her properly, just telling Avery she did good and he was done.
