Yes, definitely celebrate surpassing your goal! And I hope you're getting caught up with your reading and your ARCs!
Yep, I'm almost there with my reading goal. Yet, somehow I'm still behind on our yearly challenges. 😉 Ah, 5 star reads... I rarely rate 5 stars. It's a me problem. But my highest rated books this year have been for Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation (both the novel and the manhuas), James, Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, Vol. 1, and Pride and Prejudice (re-read).

Yep, I read The Phantom of the Opera bc I loved the Broadway musical and its soundtrack. One of my favorite musicals!

I am! That was the first time I read Agatha Christie, and I love her now! I got a few recommendations to try her books because I like mystery, so over a year ago I bought the three I read,..."
Yay, a new Agatha Christie fan! She's not known as the Queen of Crime or the Queen of Mystery for nothing! I started the challenge almost 2 years ago. It's been fun re-reading old favorites and new ones I hadn't read before. I think I have about a dozen or so to go.

Thank you so much Jenn! I have been thoroughly enjoyi..."
Ooh, I love cozy mysteries! And specifically, I have a soft spot for culinary cozies. 😊 Any cozies you recommend?

Thanks for the encourage! I feel I've stalled out a bit in the past few weeks."
I hope your reading has picked up again. I have found myself at a lull, too. But that's not too uncommon for me after a readathon. Slowly getting back into it and I hope you are, too! 😀

Hello Ali and welcome to our group! So glad to have you here! Fantasy, fiction and history books with a good romance subplot are excellent choices, and it's great that you read all sorts of books.
We understand the struggle of balancing school and reading, but we're here to cheer you on. If you enjoy book discussions, TBR Twins, Buddy Reads, and Group Reads would be good places to start. You'll definitely have opportunities to connect with others over a shared book.
Happy reading!

I'm doing great in meeting my reading goal, but I'm a bit behind in some of my yearly challenges. I'm hoping to check off a few books with this readathon. Fingers crossed. It's a bit of a busy weekend and I'm not sure where I'll find time to squeeze some reading time, but I couldn't miss a readathon!
2.) Are there annual events in your area that you like to attend for the fall season? What are they?
We're looking forward to apple picking and trick or treating.
3.) What is your favorite spooky book from childhood? Are there any favorites from adulthood?
I loved Bunnicula: A Rabbit-Tale of Mystery by James Howe when I was a kid. As an adult, I don't really read spooky, scary stuff much anymore, but I loved Phantoms by Dean Koontz (I used to be a huge fan of Dean Koontz but haven't read him in ages) and The Lottery by Shirley Jackson.
