Are long, epic novels your favorite? Do you have a few chunksters you have been meaning to get to but avoid because they are JUST. SO. LONG?! Have you been waiting for the right time or occasion to dust off those tomes?

Maybe you are on the other end of the spectrum and like your books short and sweet. Do you go bonkers for comics, poetry, and novellas? Have you been looking for something you can read in one sitting? Is it your belief that sometimes less is more when it comes to impactful writing?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, we have the challenge for you!

To participate, commit to the number of long and short books you would like to read.
--"Long books" are loosely defined as books that are 500 pages or more. Omnibus editions or other collections that combine a series into one book may also be counted, but not separate books of a series if they are under 500 pages each.
--"Short books" are loosely defined as books that are 200 pages or less.
--If the page number is close but a little under or over, you can still count it.

So clear your schedule, load up on the snacks, and make a date with your longest and shortest books.
