I am setting my goal small and plan to read 5 books until now and the rest of the year! Let’s see if I can read more than 5!

Hey guys! My name is Cristen and I am from Virginia. I’m not much of a reader but I want to start getting into it. I love writing (like short stories) and I feel like reading will help me get more ideas to write! I used to read some as a kid like Diary of the Wimpy Kid, Junie B. Jones, etc. My goal is to read five books by the end of 2025 which may seem easy but I’m new. I love challenges so I felt like this group would be good for me and help me read more! I love young adult, romance books and anything kinda realistic. The book I am currently reading and my first book of the year is The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han. I watched the series so I figured I would read the book and see how different things are. Happy reading!
