Here is our review on "In the Hands of Taliban"....What I Personally like is sitting back in my bean bag in the balcony of my apartment and having a coffee in one hand and a book in the other and just letting the day pass as the pages become thick in my left hand. But this time it was no fun and things weren’t this simple. This was a difficult experience even for the readers to go through- what to talk about Joanie de Rijke who travelled this terrible path in her life. Even more difficult was her revealing it to the world in a manner that they actually feel like stepping into her footsteps.
A female journalist risks her life to reveal the face of the Taliban to the world and things get worse and the brutal face of the Taliban was revealed to her. Joanie de Rijke-was taken hostage in November 2008 and was forced into several rapes by Ghazi- one of the many Talibani’s who held her hostage.
It is so unfortunate to get to know the reality that this lady has gone through. In fact the very same lady was there for the world to know the real face of the Taliban. All what that she went through makes us realize the pains that these people take to get us what we want. In the end respect is all what I can give.
We would love to know what you have to say about the books you are reading.. A very informal review to all your fellow friends on Goodreads...

Transmedia in the Book WorldWikipedia defines transmedia storytelling, also known as multi-platform storytelling or cross-platform storytelling, as the technique of telling stories across multiple platforms and formats using current digital technologies. In other words, each platform allows the author to tell the story in a different way. It is not a matter of adding extras (videos, podcasts, etc.), as occurs in enhanced books. Each format is part of the story and provides a different experience.
haven't read anything by Lisa Scottline.. Its time for you to purchase "Why My Third Hisband will be a Dog"
Why My Third Husband Will Be a Dog: The Amazing Adventures of an Ordinary Woman....I do not understand women. What man does? Lisa Scottoline writes about women from a woman's view. I think this book is insightful and funny. Women, I am certain, will probably understand references that leave me scratching my head. When she talks about being braless, for example, I get an image she probably did not intend.
Would love to read your reviews for this book...
I am sure you are... I am waiting for others to give their comments first before we put any review from our side... :)
Here comes another novel "The Fountain's Magic" by Marya Rahator... Maya, who dreams about a simple life like any ordinary girl, only to be shattered by the cruel blow of an acrid matrimony.
Will she be able to over-shadow the nemesis of the demon by her optimism and sheer resilient mettle?
Grab your copy of "The Wrong Chase".. Just download it from http://www.mehtapublishinghouse.com/B.......
Story starts with murder of a Tourist in Mumbai, followed by a couple of more tourists losing their lives.

I m impressed Maurice.. So many books going on in your list... I am reading Schapelle at present.. It is an amazing book.. Must read it...
Marya I have read Thousand Splendid Suns.. I really like this book...Khaled Hosseini is one of my favourite authors
I am reading Schapelle by Tony Wilson present.. The author of this book Tony Wilson, has taken a predictably hard-nosed approach to the sordid story of Schapelle Corby's arrest in Bali on drug charges in 2004, states upfront that he is wedded to the innocence theory. Tony Wilson also indicates why a normal man would be inclined to look twice at her case
