Are you in the US or the UK?

Hey! Sorry for my tardy response. Is this still a problem?

Hey! Thanks for your wonderful comments! It's really appreciated. The new book is called 'Born Weird.' It comes out in early January 2013 in Canada. But I'm not sure when it's coming out in the UK. Let me take a look and get back to you!

Well, I'm not sure. In the UK, probably not for a while as they have to put out the paperback for 'The Tiny Wife' first. But in Canada, it's coming out in eleven months. The current title, which I love but you know, we'll see, is 'Only Our Captain Can Lower the Lifeboats'

Certainly a devoutly Aquatic would consider it taboo, but it would be because they were unwatered, not interspecies. But, they do walk amongst us: human\frog children are born all the time...

This trend must be stopped. There is a reason why dialogue is put in quotation marks - because it's EXACTLY what the character has said. If it's not in quotation marks, it tells me, the reader, that this might be something like what the character said. And as the writer, shouldn't you know exactly what they said?
