I am a fantasy author from Alabama. I also am a school counselor and worked as an elementary teacher.

54373 Flight Moon is a little of both. The story of the three brothers is directly linked to the world of the next book, and the mystery of the ending is discovered.

And it's two generations, so not quite 100 years. There is a character that shows up in the next book, but that is a surprise. :)

54373 #1 Create a blog: it is better than a website because you can update it often. Post a variety of topics to attract different viewers.

#2 Create a book trailer: post a short trailer about your book on youtube. You can also embed it to your blog or website (under the share tab).

#3 Create a facebook fan page: share your page with all your facebook friends through the recommend feature.

#4 Create a twitter account: post interesting bits about your book and other topics related to your writing. Gain followers through #FF and other twitter functions.

#5 Create a google+ account: add people to your circles with interests similar to your book (such as "fantasy reading" or "quilting"). Do this by searching for a topic while on the profile tab.

#6 Create a Author Central account: once your book is on Amazon be sure to update your amazon author central account.

#7 Create accounts on any other social outlets you plan to be active on: My Space, or Tumblr.

#8 Get active on some forums: find forums related to your book's topic and get to know people on it.

#9 Get active on some groups: find groups on Yahoo! or other websites to meet people interested in similar topics.

#10 Meet other authors who can help you: I can introduce you to a few. :) Find me on Facebook.
