Kai nodded, and walked quickly outside.

Kai smiled, and nodded, "Sure." She didn't want to be by herself anyways.

"Anywhere." SHe shrugged, "Just someplace less crowded."

Kai rolled her eyes, "Well, time to get goin." She walked out, leaving Jasper alone.

Kai thought for a moment, "My birthday is coming up, maybe then I could become a vampire."

Kai nodded, "I know but does it hurt when you become a vampire?"

Kai looked out the window, "I'm the last one of her family that is still human."

Kai nodded, "Thanks, Jasper."

Kai looked like she was about to cry "I hate lying to people."

Kai nodded, "Yeah she's the friend I was talking about."

Kai sighed again, "I'm Tylar's older sister." she muttered.

Kai sighed, "I uh.. lied to you." She bit her lip, afraid of what his reaction would be.

Carlisle paced the hallway.

Ty sighed, "You need to explain to Jazz."

Kai nodded, she ran to where Jasper was. "Uh, I need to explain something."

Ty stared at her. "Only..mom or dad would say that."

Kai stared back. "Promise me that you'll stop."

Ty nodded, "I promise."

Ty tugged again. "Come on."

Kai glared, "No, Tylar Kenya Jackson, I'm not gonna have you go and kill yourself. Mom was important to me too but you don't see me going and killing myself."

Kai nodded, "Hi. I guess you're the mindreader?"

Carlisle nodded, "Yes, but make sure that she is cold but still warm."

Ty tugged, "Now." Kai looked at her."Why, so that you can be dead?" Ty nodded.

Carlisle opened the door, "What happened?"

Kai tilted her head. "Its cool, no worries." SHe bit her lip again. "I should uh.. go get to her house." She didn't like lying to Jasper. But she had to do it.

Ty walked inside the house, "Kai, time to go." SHe whispered in Kai's ear.

"Uh.. she heard that my mom had died, so we went to put some flowers on her grave." She bit her lip, knowing that eventually he would find out.
