Carlisle nodded, "I don't know Esme, What if her gift does inhance? I just don't know."

Ty looked at Carlisle, "I'll do it. I'll change my sister."

Carlisle checked Kai. "She somehow is alright but she is also dying. This is new to me."

"No you didn't, Kai can't handle stress very well. I should know. This ability is killing her not you."

"Her gift, she can't handle it as well since there are so many people. She won't be able to hold some much in. We need to get her into a very quiet room."

Ty spotted her and ran over to her. "Xenia what's wrong?"

Carlisle grabbed a small bottle. "I can't smell any change. She isn't dying. I think that she might be hiding something from us."

Carlisle ran up the stairs and into his study.

Kai layed there, motionless.

Ty ran outside, "Xenia."

Kai flet like she was going to pass out. She clothes her eyes.

Ty whimpered. "Kai, wake up!" She looked over at xenia.

Carlisle appeared behind Esme. "I'm going to get some smell insence."

Carlisle kissed her head. "I will never leave you."

Kai glared at her. "I'm fine!" She yelled. After a few minutes she grabbed her head. She started to scream.

Ty heard Kai's scream and ran inside just in time to see Kai collaspe on the ground. "Kai!! Carlisle, Esme! Help!"

"Okay." Carlisle smiled.

Kai hit the wall. "Ow." SHe held her hand, which was bleeding. "Thats what I get for fighting a vampire."

Carlisle smiled. "I'm so sorry, my dear."

Kai walked out of the room. She sat down on the couch.

Kai ran inside Esme's room. "Esme I found him."

Carlisle followed her. "Esme. I don't know what had gotten into me. I shouldn't have left." He walked over wrapped his arms around her.

"No, This isn't your fault. Something made Carlisle act this way and we're gonna find out." She turned her head. "Kai's here."

Kai ran back to the house. "Esme! I got him!"

Carlisle stopped the car and ran to the house.

Ty climbed up the tree. "Hey. This isn't your fault and I knwo Kai's plan. SHe's gonna get him back here and have Esme talk some sence into him."

Kai kept running until she reached the forest. "Just a bit more." She began to run again.

Carlisle caught up with her. "What are you doing?"

"I want you too." He threw Kai back.

Kai hit the wall. "I nned to get out of here." She found a window and climbed out. She ran down the street.
Carlisle hung up the phone, ran to his car and drove down the street where Kai was.

Ty looked around, "Xenia! Where are you!? This isn't your fault! Kai told me about what might be happening! Please tell me where you are!"

Carlisle smiled, "Hello, my dear wife. Would you like a new daughter, one who is more obiedient. Who won't treat you badly?"

Kai felt her final nerve break. SHe jumped on Carlisle. "I am not your daughter! Don't you ever call me or Ty your daughters, Carlisle!"

Ty felt Kai's sudden burst. "Xenia wait!" She ran outside.

Carlisle smiled, he put the phone on speaker. "Say hello to your new mother, Kaianna."

Kai glared, "My parnets died, I rather have you go back to Esme and leave me here."

Ty smiled. She ran to Esme. "Kai, I agree, just tell us where you are, and we'll come and get ya.."

"Well, I can feel any slight change or shift that Kai is feeling. She can feel any shift or change in other people and myself. So If I do anything, even if it means going after her and Carlisle, she will feel it."

Kai's eyes widdened. "How could you know about it?"

Carlisle smiled, "I'll just leave a call for Esme and Tylar." He took the phone and dialed the Cullen home phone.

Esme heard Ty's voice. She looked up, sorrow visible in her dark golden eyes. "He's gone..isn't he..." It wasn't a question. She closed her eyes, and bowed he..."

Ty turned her head. She sighed, "Remember when Kai explained that connection that she and I have?"

Kai sat down on the motel room bed. "Carlisle, please understand I care for your safety."

Carlisle stared at her. "I know about your an Tylar's little connection."

Ty ran inside the house. "Esme!" SHe ran up the stairs and saw Esme. "Esme, look at me. Esme. I'm here. Look at me Esme."

Carlisle parked into a motel. "Come on, they won't be able to find us here."

Kai got out of the car. "Carlisle, I may be Tylar's sister but. We're not your children and you are becoming paranoid about something."
