HAHAHAHA!!!!! Please feel to use "Authros" for a character! I am truly honored to have my inattention to SpellCheck singled out in such a positive manner! HAHAHA!!!!

Hi Mr. Gallowglas, and thanks for offering this book free. I have ordered it and promise to read it sometime in the vague near future and to review same. I always appreciate authros putting themselves on the line for readers. Thanks again.

Hi Joseph, would be glad to read "Black Hull." My email address is: timboni@juno.com. Have Kindle for PC, also PDF is OK. Thanks for making the offer.

Hi Andrew, thanks for the free offer. My email is timboni@juno.com, or I suppose this can be sent via Goodreads. In any case I do promise to read and review on Goodreads. Thanks again.

Hi Kai, and thanks for pitching this work free for us to peruse. Will get to it anon, and promise to review.

I have been forgetting to post on this list, mea culpa. I am currently reading the "Ringworld" cycle by Larry Niven. I have already read "Ringworld" and "The Ringworld Engineers," and am currently reading "The Ringworld Throne." Relatedly, I have read "Man-Kzin Wars" and "Man-Kzn Wars II." I have all the Ringworld books and 7 of the 13 (Currently) Man-Kzin Wars books. Enjoyable but somewhat uneven in quality.

Hi Russell,
Thanks for providing this book free of charge. I do promise I shall get to it in the vague future, and will write a review for both Goodreads and Smashwords. I always appreciate authors putting themselves "out there" for their art. Thanks again.
Tim

Hi Alex, and thanks for providing this book free. I shall indeed read, and review, same, though it may be some time afore I get to it. Thanks again.

Hi Cliff, and thanks for your offer of Beyond the New Frontier. I hereby promise that I shall duly read same and review same, though it may be a few months before I get to it. I always appreciate authors putting themselves "out there." Thanks again.

I just finished "The Man-Kzin Wars" as a sort of sequel to reading "Ringworld." I will be purchasing the rest of the innumerable "Man Kzin Wars" books and will read them alternating with the "Ringworld" books (as of now I will be starting "The Ringworld Engineers"). After that will be "Rite of Passage."

Hey, JL, thanks for giving this away free, will letcha know (as well as Goodreads) what my take on the yarns will be.

Just started "Rama Revealed," the fourth and final novel in Arthur C. Clarke's (and Gentry Lee's for the last three) "Rama" series. Part of me is bored with the whole thing, but another wants to find out just who these Ramans are and what their purpose is in observing all these intergalactic species is (nefarious? Humanitarian? Both?) So here we go, will letcha know what I think.

The Gripping Hand also went by another name, [book:The Mo..."According to Wikipedia,.."In December, 2010, with Niven and Pournelle's authorization, Pournelle's daughter, J. R. Pournelle, released a second sequel, entitled Outies, written in part to address issues raised by critics of the earlier works."

Thanks Jeanette! Those titles all go on my "To Read" list!

Sop thinking, start doing! It's great - you won't regret it."
Yes, I've always been a Niven &..."Years ago I read "The Mote in God's Eye," which I thoroughly enjoyed. Since then, I've discovered that it is part a larger series, which I plan to research and read. Is "Lucifer's Hammer" one of those?

Well, I've just finished "The Garden of Rama" (better than Rama II), and will be reading "Rama Revealed" in the next month or so. Meantime, I've added another "cleanse my palate" collection of short stories, "The Best of Amazing," edited by Joseph Ross. Also started "A Storm of Swords" a few days ago. All of this keeps me off the streets but not necessarily out of trouble...

I have read "The Stars My Destination" - twice. It was part of a "Treasury of Great Science Fiction" - a two-volume collection which was part of an introductory offer from the Science Fiction Book Club, back there in the early-mid 70's. I agree wholeheartedly. Now, I'm about to start reading Bester's "The Demolished Man," which is one of a number of recommended works from the "Science Fiction Reader's Guide," (read my review), which includes "Dune" and "The Left Hand of Darkness" as well as many others.

I'm about to start that book too. I'm also plodding along at The Mists of Avalon. It's a good book, but hard to get anywhere with. I ge..."I finished The Mists of Avalon about six months ago, was a year-long tour de force, very engaging at many levels. Last night, watched the miniseries on DVD, with Julianna Margulies, Anjelica Houston and Joan Allen, VERY good adaptation of the book, though at three hours it was not nearly long enough; some key characters (Kevin) were eliminated, and LOT of the priestell training and other aspects were condensed. Enjoyable nonetheless.

Just started "Storm of Swords," abut 3/4 of the way through "The Garden of Rama."

Just finished "Rendezvous with Rama," now on to "Rama II", despite spotty reviews. Will letcha know.
