Hey writing is such an important part of this! Without writers there's be no readers! So don't worry about it! These people deserve bajillions of threads!

52383 Hey guys! I have been working on making my author interviews live chats, and I would be totally psyched if you guys could drop in for my very first one on Oct 9 at 8 pm EST. I'm going to be talking to SB Sebrick, author of Decoy, and I'd appreciate if you guys helped us along a little bit as we stumble into foreign ground ;) I have all the info here in a (I like to think) fun post: http://book-spark.blogspot.com/2011/1... Please check it out! (There may be a little something for you too...) Thanks :D

I'm not a very good teacher, so here are two links:

http://thedabblingmum.com/writing/hos...
They basically say the same thing. It's not as hard as it sounds by the way, and if you have the money, you can always hire a publicist or tour hosting website to do the work for you (:

52383 There is a very similar thread by the way called "what's Writing, Yo" I know, I should've probably named it something more obvious lol. But nothing wrong with starting another thread about it! :D

I don't think you have t o have a blog to get approved for some titles. And you can mention in the company any schools, libraries, companies, or publishing groups you are affiliated with. Also, you should mention in the bio your blog and Twitter followers and fav genres :)

You should totally request it if still available! I read the first two pages to see how it was and I was totally intrigued!! The Dovekeepers is amazing! It feels like one of those classics sometimes, but it really breaks my heart and I love it with every progressing chapter (:

how was it? im dying to read this. The cover is one of my fav covers of 2011!"

IKR?! It's a really good book-mostly because it's just different. It's a vampire girl who's mostly a normal kid and hates humans until she is staked by a unicorn so suddenly she can walk in the sunlight and since the "king" of vampires is coming there for a feast, she has to go to school to gather up "food". And you can guess how it goes from there...but it's better when you read it. It made me laugh out loud. It was a nice change from the dystopian I'd read before that...wow I could totally put all this in my review (which I still have to write!)
Anyway, definitely recommended
