I have heard some good things about this one.

I imagine there will be a few people thinking of this series Jenny. I haven't read them mainly because i have seen the movies so many times and it confuses me.

I agree Erin. I have already started cause i was so excited.

I have started and I love it even more. I don't think I could ever get tired of this series.

I can't wait for this! I have wanted to reread Dean Koontz Odd Thomas or maybe his Frankenstein series. I will see how many I can get through in January.

Hey Nicole, you can read as many books from as many countries that you like. Since it's a year long challenge the goal is to read from many different countries to get many different experiences.. The authors should be born in the country you have chosen.

I don't know how i have survived without a thread like this. I always forget what books I want when they release.

I love these challenges. Weeee...this is going to be so much fun!

We thought it would be fun to be a little adventurous in 2016. So everyone keep your arms and legs in the ride at all times and enjoy the journey. If you wish to ride then there are a few guidelines to follow.


Choose an author that is from a country other than your own.The author must be born in the country that you chose. I will link a couple of countries below but you can go to the listopia and type in "authors from _______"(what ever country you are looking for) and it will bring up various books for you. If you need help with this I will be happy to help you out.

Create a shelf and name it 2016 Authors from another country where you will add in all of the books as you read them. Just post the link for your shelf here.

No short stories or novellas please, the books need to be at least 150 pages in length.

The books can be of any genre.

This challenge will run the entire year of 2016 so experience the many wonders of the world and read from every country at your own pace.

Reviews are welcomed and encouraged.
