Hi Hely, nice to meet you and welcome. You are more than welcome to jump into our many discussions we have going on. "What you are reading?" is one of our popular threads and it's a great conversation starter.

Tell me about it. Can you believe I have yet to read the final book of The Mortal Instruments Series for that very reason. The wait was too bloody long lol

:D how you going with this?"

I haven'tread anything yet. The bummer is most of the authors are from the US. Need to venture out."

Yeah, it really is difficult. You should look up some Aussie authors like Liane Moriarty, Nicola Moriarty (who is my hubby's, cousin's wife and sister to Liane -who is a very popular Aussie author). Or we have Melina Marchetta, Markus Zusak, John Marsden, Alison Goodman, Isobelle Carmody, Garth Nix etc…here is a list of Aussie YA authors…https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/6...

Hope this helps you :D

51477 Our second theme for the Monthly Challenge is:

February: All You Need Is Love

Whether it is a sweeping saga filled with romance, a fairytale retelling, historical fiction, romantic suspense, paranormal romance, fantasy, forbidden, contemporary, new adult, young adult and so on…as long it has the theme of love within, then you can read as many books as you like but only those you have never read before.

Please sign up on the homepage when the challenge opens, labelling your folder MC Feb 16....goodreads.com/challenges/4212-feb...
...and then post the link in this discussion post so we can discuss each others' selection of books.

Have fun and if you get stuck for some book ideas, here are some lists featured in Listopia. They are:

51477 Okay then, I'm suggesting Sarah J. Maas and my 2 picks are Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas and A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1) by Sarah J. Maas . I've been dying to read her work.

51477 We are asking all members to suggest a book/author that you have never read before i.e.new to you. For example, I haven't read anything by Sarah J. Maas and I would then nominate Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas or A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1) by Sarah J. Maas . You can nominate only 2 books from the same author and generally the first of a series or a standalone. Please do not suggest every book they have ever written. Just pick the 2 you are desperate to read.

Please be aware that books nominated will be up for voting in 2 polls (depending on how many books are up for suggestion) and then the winner's of each polls will be March's Book of the Month.

You all have until 15th February to suggest a book of the month.

Note: Authors are not to nominate their own books and please do not repeat a book if it has been suggested already. Thank you.

It will help greatly with combating stress. I know I'm finding some sort of peace escaping into a good book :)

I've read 2 books for this challenge, book 2 & 3 of the Blood of Eden series by Julie Kagawa (which also worked out well for both Bad Ass Heroine and Authors from another country) woohoo! Plus I've read a couple nonfiction books so I'd say I've done pretty well so far :D
