OMG Tracy, what an EPIC moment and your son didn't even realise. That would have been fantastic to have a well-known author come out and speak to the students at school. Oh man, wish you could of been a fly on the wall that day.

Yeah, I remember it circulating quite a bit and the mixed reviews. Took me a while to pick it up but glad that I finally did.

Another song crossed off with ...it was a book that I feared reading for a very long time and finally did. Took me well over 2 weeks, only cause reading about characters with ASD is like holding a mirror up to my life, even though they are nothing like my boy or anything like my life.

Not barging in at all hun :) glad you love this concept of incorporating music and reading. It really is a fun way to read...hope you get the chance to try it yourself as it's never too late to start the challenge.

No, I haven't read it but I have watched the movie and rather enjoyed that...hmmmm might be an idea though...thanks Tracy.

Lol the weather is weird. For once in forever we have started Autumn on dot, usually we are experiencing the heat until April but I am liking the shift.

Read and crossed off reading a book about going to war/fighting...the book was the start of it.
