Sally Brainerd is a girl on the run from the FBI. Special Agent James Quinlan is the man sent to find her. Hiding out at her Aunts home in the The Cove they uncover a mystery. Travelers keep disappearing in this quaint little town. Before they can solve the mystery Sally is kidnapped and James sets out to find her. What happens next is a crazy adventure with both their lives in danger. I am a big fan of Coulters books but this is the 1st of her FBI series that I have read and I liked it. I will never be traveling anywhere with the word Cove in the name. I did figure out how and why all the travelers were missing from the Cove, the rest of Sally's story I did not anticipate at all. I feel the love story between Sally and James was a little flat but the rest of the story was good.
Kyrian of Thrace is a breed of immortal killers, whose only job is to kill the Vampires that would harm innocent mortals. So when he wakes up handcuffed to Amanda Deveraux, a woman with a secret talent of her own, he is not all that upset. But when he is called on to keep Amanda save from a powerful evil force, sparks begin to fly. This book is hot hot hot. If you have a heart condition then make sure you have your medication close by, you may need it. This is the first book I have read by Sherrilyn Kenyon and I am defiantly a fan. Hot men, great plot, steamy sex, what more can a girl ask for in a book.
