I have not read this one, but I did read "The Girl Who Played With Fire," and I definitely agree w/ you guys about there being boring parts. I had to completely skip over huge sections just to be able to complete it. I thought that maybe it would not have been quite so boring if it hadn't been a foreign nationality...the lengthy descriptions of things like the police department were so alien that I had difficulty maintaining any interest. I feel that it would have been a good, but not great, book if it had been reduced, perhaps by as much as half. I also agree about Blomkvist- I did not care for him much, either.
