Oh some genre classics is a good idea, I read the Island of Doctor Moreau years ago and remember enjoying it so would love to revisit.
I'll also throw in A brave new world, and a Handmaid's tale.
And The Lady of the Camellias looks great.

I'm listening to this on audio book and it's really great, totally bringing back memories of my mother reading this to me and my sister when were very young.
Curious if people are reading little women / good wives or little women?

June is going to be my month of focusing on reading unread books on my book shelf.
So I'm going to second Picture of Dorian Gray, also throw in Lady Susan (it's the only Austen I haven't read) and the Count of Monte Cristo.

Confession time, I got 50% through Rebecca and was finding it to intense and suspenseful...so I googled what happens. Now I'm both really annoyed at myself, and excited to read it. But wow this book, so good.

Hoping to get to The Picture of Dorian Gray this year, also Lolita has been on my list for ages.
Also totally feeling a Little Women reread

I am just about half way through now, I am really enjoying it. It is reminding me quite a bit of A Clockwork Orange, just in the first person narration and use of slang.

Just picked up my copy of the catcher in the rye from the library. Will be my first time reading it.

Rebecca would be great! I've also been meaning to read the Tenant of Wildfell Hall and The Count of Monte Cristo for a while.
