49441 We've had our first Goodreads reader review. It's from Goodreads user Tzipora, and it reads as follows:

I won this book through the Goodreads giveaway page.

You know how generally when you read a short story collection it's rather hit or miss, some stories are good while others aren't so much? Coming Unglued: Six Stories about Things Falling Apart isn't like that. I genuinely enjoyed all six stories in this book! I've read a lot of short story collections and while this one is shorter than most it may just be the best one I have ever read. And some of the stories have stuck with me, unlike so many I read.

I agree. It is a great story. You...that is to say, someone totally not you, were.

So Peter, what compelled you to write "Liberty Bell"?

49441 To start out the introductions, I'm Jim Snowden. I edited Coming Unglued and contributed a previously published story, "Koba's Bad Cut", to it. I was born in Santa Monica, CA, but I've lived on both coasts and a few places in between. I've been placing fiction in magazines on and off for about 20 years now. You can find my work in Pulphouse, the Seattle Review, The King's English and other places.

I started the MMIP as a podcast about three years ago, doing readings of extant works as well as original plays, adapted to audio format. We started taking fiction for readings just two years ago and starting publishing about two weeks ago. I hope that continues for a long time.

Outside of the MMIP, I'm finishing work on a novel called The Summer of Long Knives. When not writing, I obviously enjoy reading (lots of Third Reich history in the past couple of years, and lots of Soviet history in the couple of years before that), movies, hanging out at Faire with Liz and her friends, astronomy, chess, backgammon, tennis, travel and stand-up comedy.
