47761 Hi Joe

I know it has got to be the most textbook question around but I have to ask. What inspired you to develop the idea of the "testers" and the version of the afterlife that goes along with them?
47761 Gotta be Matthew. He seems to fully embrace his situation and is willing to try new things and always learning more about himself, his friends and the worlds around him. He also seems to be at least tolerated by all of the testers we meet which puts him beyond a great deal of the petty bickering.

I would definately not want to be Kyo. At first glance in Probability Angels he seems like the easy choice, but even before the end of Persistent Illusions he is revealed as a truly tragic figure who is forced to give up all he knows, all he is, over and over.
