Hiya everyone,

I started this new folder to help authors and bloggers find each other. Reviews are very important in the publishing industry, in fact in all industries. Customers tend to buy books with good review.

So if you're a blogger, reader, author and you review books, stop by and leave your details here including the type of books you review etc.

Good question Keryl. The main aim of this group is to connect writers round the globe via the help of social media. When you click on a writer's blog, and you don't like what you see, it's left to you to follow or not. No one is forcing you to follow other writers.

Now, I believe the more followers you have the more exposure you're going to get. Readers would want to check out/follow a blog that has much followers, so this thread will help you achieve that.

Most agents/editors would like the hook to be in the first paragraph, so as to compel them to read further. However, I feel there are some interesting books that don't have such sparkling first paragraphs... Twilight for example. However, that is when a "Preface" comes in.
