I'm reading Ravenwood by Andrew Peters.Set in the future, in an entire country housed high up in the trees above a polluted wastland. An enemy nation is out to destroy them for their priceless timber.
If anyone is interested in a family joke book then my first one has just come out on kindle. The Seal of Approval Joke Book
Any reviews would be much appreciated.
I'm reading The Night of the Solstice by L.J. Smith. It's really good. It's got a definite, classic sort of narnian, c.s. lewis style in the way its written. I'ts pretty exciting.

I have now read Harriet's Halloween Candy by Nancy Carlson and i really like it. I has a good message about sharing and the illustrations are wonderfull. They remind me a little bit of the pictures in the spot the dog books i read when i was little. Have to try it out on one of my little nieces before i post a review though. It's their opinions that count most.

I don't know about a third book, but I think Florina and the Wild Bird sounds like a sweet little story that kids would like. My second choice would be Harriet and the Roller Coaster, it just sound like fun. I also really like the artwork on these covers.

Thanks Ronyell. I'm just finishing The Battle of the Labyrinth and really enjoying it. Not much more percy jackson to go, so i guess i'll be moving on to 'The heroes of olympus' soon.

I like the sound of the Nancy Carlson books suggested on this page. I have ordered a copy of Harriet's Halloween Candy. I think my little nieces will enjoy the story.
Hi everyone. I read thats it's ok for authors to suggest their own titles here, so here they are. There's just the two at the moment. They are called The Tale Of Greta Gumboot And Other Stories and Berty Tumblefluff and Friends. These are volumes one and two of a series of children's fantasy adventure story collections, both published in the last few years ('Berty Tumblefluff' has only been in paperback a few days). They both only have a tiny number of ratings and reviews. It would be great to get a few more. Both the books are illustrated. I hope they make their way to some more happy children and parents. The feedback i have had so far has been pretty good.
Thanks
My name is Lee Pritchett. I am a children's author from the uk and i love to read titles like 'Percy Jackson', 'Inkheart' and 'His Dark matierials'. If there's some good, little known books along these lines it would be great to give them a read.
