Ok well basically this book is about aliens called Souls that come to earth and are implanted in humans brains. Once they are in the brain they can take over the hosts body and use it as their own. The humans are pretty much losing but there are some left. There is an underground camp where some of the remaining humans live. When a Soul is implanted in the humans brain the human is basically gone but some humans have been known to fight, and by that I mean when the Soul gets put inside them they are still there and at random times can gain control back of their body but this rarely happens. There is only on cure for getting rid of Souls from a human, but no one knows how, that is except for the Souls. The humans have tried but always fail and end up killing both the Soul and the human. The story takes place in the Sonoran Desert whixh is in Arizona. Go to her website for another summary of The Host

Erik smiled and cranked up the radio.

Erik started up the car and started driving.

Erik opened the passenger door for her and then went to his side.

Cyan looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"Ok." he said and started walking to his car.

Erik did the same and took Seanna's hand, "Do you need to get a bathing suit from your place?"

He smiled and took his shoes off.

"It might help if we give the bowling shoes back," he said while looking at their feet.

Scout slipped away into the forest.

Scout looked around and sighed. She started to walk off.

"There's a lake a mile outside of town."

Erik looked at her and grinned, "Let's go swimming." He said kinda randomly.

"Good morning," he said back and set the food on the table. "Hungry?"

He smiled more, "I'm glad to know you feel like that too."

Erik pulled away gently, "We're still in a bowling alley ya know," he said smiling.

Erik kissed her a bit roughly.

Erik just chuckled and kissed her.
