Actually Rob's birthday is May 13, so he's about 23 1/2 now. Haven't heard anything about them living together either.:-)
Angie, might I ask where you heard about the marriage thing?I believe the question which started this thread was based on stories about Rob frequently (and jokingly) asking Kristen to marry him while they were filming Twilight. From what I've been able to piece together from reliable sources, Rob did have a crush on Kristen, but they were just friends during the filming of the first movie. At that time, she was still involved with her old boyfriend Michael. They just broke up this past spring, and sometime after that Rob convinced her to start a romantic relationship with him.
I admit I haven't been keeping up with Twilight news very well for the past few weeks (I've been too busy with Christmas stuff), but prior to that I was reading two reliable fan sites almost every day. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but I have yet to see anything about a marriage proposal at all, much less from a legitimate source.
All I'm saying it that you can't always believe everything you read. I've even seen reliable sources get things wrong on occasion, and celebrity gossip magazines/websites rarely have the true story about anything. That's why it's called gossip. I personally won't believe it until I hear it straight from Rob or Kristen or from a reasonably reliable source. If they truly are contemplating marriage, I wish them well, and hope that fans will give them their privacy. Relationships are difficult enough without millions of people watching.
This thread started 10 months ago, and I still stand by what I said at the time. A lot can change in that amount of time though, and from everything I can tell, Rob and Kristen are dating now, although they're being very secretive about it.
For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, here is the first official New Moon Trailer:http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fus...
I thought it looked awesome, and can't wait to see more.
Well, according to comments made by Robert Pattinson at the Cannes Film Festival today, it is official that a Breaking Dawn movie will be made. There's no word on when shooting will start, but that's not too surprising since New Moon isn't even finished yet. Here the short article. If you haven't read Breaking Dawn yet there is a spoiler in it.

I think this was one of many Twilight April Fool's jokes that is apparently still making the rounds.
I haven't seen a single article yet that says New Moon. All the ones I've read said Twilight, which is what led me to the conclusion that it was old news. What also makes me suspicious that it's old news, is that so far I've only seen the report on general celebrity gossip sites, but not on the Twilight specific sites or Rob Pattinson fan site that I frequent. Admittedly, I haven't been checking them every single day, so I might have missed it, but you'd think that is something they would definitely be reporting if it were true and recent. If I have time, I might run a search on those sites later today, just to see if they did have anything to say about it.
It seems that there are actually two injury stories that are making the rounds on the internet, one about a head injury involving a flying metal sign that was ripped up by a gust of wind and the other being the butt injury.I did a bit of research and from what I can tell, the head injury story seems to be the false one, while the butt injury story appears to be true, but happened over a year ago on the first day of filming Twilight. Why they're dredging it up now, I have no idea. Slow news day??? LOL!
Katie, this song is not in the movie, and I have seen it. A quick Google search seemed to indicate that it was linked to the books/movie by fans who thought it would make a great tune for Bella's Lullaby. There are a number of YouTube videos out there that used it, and there were rumors spread that it might be used in the movie, but it wasn't. Bella's Lullaby was written by composer Carter Burwell. Just did another quick look-up, and what I just said was also confirmed by IMDB in their trivia section about the movie. It is a beautiful song though.
No this isn't true. I read that Rob may have asked Kristen to marry him as some sort of running joke, but it may have just been a rumor too. They're good friends, but definitely not dating. Kristen is involved in a serious relationship with long-time boyfriend, Michael Angarano.
Just in case anyone is unaware these internet downloads of the movie are not legal. I'd hate to see anyone get in trouble for this, and I personally wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole. Even though I'd love to see the movie again, I'll be waiting for the DVD.
You should definitely see it and form your own opinions. IMHO, the movie wasn't perfect and wasn't as good as the book, but movie adaptations of favorite books rarely are. When you take into consideration the very small budget they had to work with, I think they did a pretty good job. I personally really enjoyed it, and am looking forward to the DVD release and the rest of the movies.
Thought everyone would like to know (if you don't already) that there are several different versions of the Twilight DVD being released by various retailers and each one contains different extras. Borders - Special Collector's Edition that has all the same stuff as the 2-disc special edition but with lots of exclusive extras DVD features plus 10 sparkly collectible photocards and a different case.
Amazon - Ultimate Collector's Edition that looks like it comes with the 2-disc special edition DVD, CD soundtrack, and all sorts of extra memorabilia goodies packed in a pretty box.
Hot Topic - Same as the 2-disc special edition but has an exclusive photo cell with over 100 photos.
Target & Best Buy - Exclusively have the Blu-Ray version that won't be available anywhere else until May. Right now it looks like it will have the same features as the 2-disc special edition.
Just thought everyone might want to do some research to decide which version best fits your needs before pre-ordering, and if you're a serious collector maybe even get more than one.;-) They all will still be released on 3/21.
If Edward and Bella have reunited, you've already passed Jane's part in New Moon. She's in the scenes in Volterra. She also shows up in the next two books.
I read the other day that Chris Weitz was touring all the sites they had used in the production of Twilight including the school that had served as Forks High School, but there was no word for sure on whether they would be using those sites again.
I've been following the pre-production of New Moon via Twilight gossip sites on the internet. All of the cast members are returning including Robert Pattinson (Edward) and Taylor Lautner (Jacob). Taylor put on about 30 pounds of muscle weight to be able to return as Jacob and I'm sure they'll just use camera angles and special effects to make him seem taller.
