I gave in and read MS. I loved it. I wish I would have read it immediately after reading Twilight. And I'm sure I'd love it either way, if she changed it or not. It helped me understand Edward a lot more and fed my EC craving. Did leave me hanging, but only wanting more. I hope she writes it. And whomever leaked it... I hope they got all the glory they wanted and are now totally embarrassed and regretful!
Ditto Christa! I'm kind of nervous, but the damage has already been done. So I don't really see how they could slaughter New Moon too badly.
LOL! You guys are great! Thanks! I stayed up til 2 a.m. reading One for the Money. It was alright, I'm considering reading the rest eventually. It's a quick read. I have heard of the Sookie Stackhouse books, that's a great idea. I'll look into the historian as well.Camisha - I agree with you about the awkward scenes. I think the fact that it was a YA book is what made it awkward for me. I was expecting something ALOT more PG. LOL!
I'll look for The Host. I just tried to read Marked lastnight and didn't care for it. Too dark on the vampire side for me, and too teen angst and it just didn't measure up to Edward and Bella's love story. Oh well. My family has suggested The White Masai series. No vamps. I usually like to read light and funny books, so I'll give Vegas Vamps a try too. I'm mid 30's and a Mom of 2, so reading more YA is a stretch unless they are as delicious as Twilight!
Oh my, just finished it! Left me wanting more, of course! I hope she finishes it soon! But in the meantime.....what to read????? Any ideas?
