Angus (Ozzy Zig needs a gig)’s comments from the 1st Edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Players Group group.

((From now on, or until sarah can post, I will be playing orthea))

Orthea snuck around Volmer and drew her knife. She grabbed it by the hilt and firmly drove it into the lizardmans back. With a reptilian hiss the thing turned ready to claw her.
Volmer parry’s the others blows while the lizard that orthea stabbed in the back stabs her with a spear.

Orthea takes two points of damage. Roll for initiative.

((any day now,,,))

((Yup waiting on orthea and jaide to attack!))

Harneys a girl!? Whhhhaaaa???

Ok whoever is closing into combat needs to roll a d20!

Harney, I'm not understanding your rolls. You just roll a d20 for combat.

Volmer runs up and trys to brain one of the lizards with his hammer but he misses. "Die!" he cries!

((Guys from now on can you just post your rolls in the thingy. links are fine, but I trust all of you. even if you do do the link, im on dial up so itd be much more conveinent for me!))

You're not dead, you only die when you get to negative 10 youre both at -6.

"Very well. ATTACK!" Cried Volmer raising his hammer high and barreling towards the right. "Vidar! Vidar! Vidar!"

If anyone is shooting, they best be doing so now.

((Maggie you can play orthea.))

"Orthea, Harney, You two ready?" asked Volmer

((Tell sarah to get her lazy butt on!!!))

The lizards are busy tying Drake and Dav to the spear poles of the fallen lizards.

"They haven't seen us yet!" said Volmer in a hushed whisper. "Orthea and I will run up there and try to free Dav and Drake. I'll heal them up and Harney, can you pick them off with bowfire? Jaide if you could give Orthea and I some magic support, we'd appreciate it!"

Roll a d6

A neat swing of his glaive decapitates one of the lizard beasts!

The lizards know they have to finish this quick. With a reptilian hiss one of the lizards lunges forwards and buries his spear deep into Dav's chest just as the other slams its spear into Dav's hip. He goes down blood spurting.

Dav takes Dave takes 13 Hit points of damage!

Just as this happens Orthea, having the best vision, spots through the mist the lizard creatures hovering over the fallen bodies.

Someone whos not Dav or Drake, Roll for surprise.

The party slogging through the swamp hears splashing and crashing and the sound of Dav's voice!

"Hang on Dav," Cries Volmer "We're coming!"

Dav you may strike first!

"I think the noises are coming from this way! " shouts Volmer. "Come on! Dav and Drake might be in trouble."

One of the scaly beasts clutch thier chest as they go down, black blood pumping out of the wound. The lizards heft thier spears and prepare to finish off the last invader.

Roll for inititiative.

Dav can now strike.

The creatures seize the inititaive and lunge forwards. Drake takes a spear to the throat and Dav gets stabbed in the thigh.

Drake takes 7 points of damage and Dav takes 2.

Roll for initiative!
