50x66 I'd have to agree with you yet again Valerie. This planet is getting a little scary. I don't think I would ever willing leave it, but I'm still hoping they'll ship a lot of people off it. Starting with the very rich. Let THEM go start a new world!

50x66 *lol* I've seen a few very appealing red-headed men. It really depends on the color. My nephew has red hair, but it's a deep, dark red and he's nicely tanned.
50x66 I wouldn't go, even if there were a way to come back. However, I like to leave the option of coming home open to my characters.
Personally, I'm afraid of flying. Well... maybe more afraid of falling a mile through the sky and stopping really fast.....

50x66 How could they possibly think sending just women off into space would work any better than sending only men?

It was that very thought that gave rise to the idea behind several of my other stories. There would have to be some sort of system, where women would pretty much have to have sex with the men on board. A man that never gets any could become dangerous after a while, especially knowing that everyone else was getting some!

50x66 Mostly theories on space exploration. For example, I heard one scientist say that in a few years space colonization may be feasibly possible, that it wouldn’t be a problem sending a ship fast enough to reach the nearest star inside 60 years, but that stopping would take a lot longer. Not long after that, I heard one say that there was no point in sending men because we could just send their sperm along with a ship load of women. Points if you can figure out which story evolved from those two ideas! =)

I get ideas from other fields of science as well, like biology!

50x66 T-Good point! I hadn't really thought of that before, but I'll keep it in mind from now on. Sometimes they have to have the same hair color, but in those cases I try to make sure the names are different enough that it's still easy to follow.

50x66 T-Thank you! Hearing that makes me feel more like writing again! =)
50x66 I wouldn't. For all that I write about that sort of thing, I would never leave Earth. It's home.

50x66 One thing I've always liked about historicals is that they can so easily translate into futuristics. Just because you’re talking about the future, doesn’t mean the world has to be more advanced than ours is. I like to explore how modern people would react to being put into more primitive settings.

I don’t read like I used to- I hardly have the time now that I write. I get many of my ideas from the science community. I enjoy learning and science has always fascinated me.

50x66 I almost never read through a book again, but I just can't stand getting rid of a 'keeper.'

50x66 Nichole- I don't have a site that lists the series order, even my publisher doesn't.
Abiogenesis, Cyborg, Cyborg Nation, Rules of Engagement, Illumination, and Total Recall.
Genesis and The Gladiators are the first two in the Enslaved series.
When Night Falls and When Dawn Breaks are based on the same species.
Alien Penetration and Deep Penetration are the first two of the Alien Breeders series.

None of my other books have any particular reading order.

50x66 Emma- I would say Sleeping With the Enemy was my favorite, so try that one!

50x66 I never imagined when I wrote that first Cyborg book that it would turn into such a hit series. I hate to admit it, but I'm now having a hard time thinking of new stories to add to it! Any suggestions?

Hi Sarah!

On another note--This is such a cool coincidence! I LOVED Edgar Rice Burroughs Mars series! Mary Stewart was one of my favorite Suspense writers. (I was so upset when she moved from romantic suspense to fantasy!) I read Gone With the Wind like four or five times and I was a big Jayne Anne Krentz fan, too!

50x66 *LOL* I mean for your heros! I looked better with long black hair, but age has stolen that away from me, and I no longer look good with dark hair.

The one problem I've always had with sci-fi and fantasy is that there are usually two (Or more!) characters you want to get together, and they never do!

Thank you! I'm glad you've enjoyed my stories. I've been in a bit of a funk lately and haven't been writing like I should be, but hearing things like that definately inspire me to try harder!

Hi Cinquetta! I'm fine. You? As far as inter-racial stories go, have you read Clone Wars: Armageddon? It's a futuristic/sci-fi erotica. It was part of the Harmony line at New Concepts Publishing.
