429940 I'm Annie :) Newlywed living in Texas, wife to a medical student who will be participating in the residency match in March, so who knows where we'll be living come summer!

After finishing graduate school in August 16, I felt motivated to read more for pleasure. I've always been a bookworm, but 7 straight years of higher education had sapped all of my pleasure-reading time and energy.

Last year I made a reading list for myself, which I stuck to religiously for a few months, but then I started traveling a lot for work, and then I got married, so the second half of the year was a bit more sporadic - but I got close to my goal! This year, I made my reading list a bit more flexible based on lessons I learned last year, so we'll see how it goes :)

I've been focusing on beefing up my "classics" repertoire - last year my big read was Middlemarch. This year, I'm adding some more nonfiction into the mix as well as some lives of the saints - currently Joan of Arc by Mark Twain!

Also, my husband and I recently got into Agatha Christie audiobooks, which has been really fun on long drives!
