The Canterbury Library will be closing at 4:00 p.m. today so we will be postponing our book discussion-again.

Let's read The Joys of Love by Madeleine L'Engle for our March 18th discussion to be held at the Scotland Library. Copies of the book can be obtained at both libraries.

Suggestions for next year: Mudbound by Hillary Jordan; A Town Like Alice by Nevil Shute; The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks; Call The Midwife by Jennifer Worth; the Seamstress by Maria Duenas.

Of these, I have read A Town Like Alice (one of my favorites) and Call the Midwife. The PBS show is based on this book. The other three are strongly recommended by Canterbury Library patrons.
