I opened up 3 gifts on Christmas Day, one of which was the DVD of..

TOMORROW WHEN THE WORLD BEGAN

I was so excited I nearly forgot that I have only just started the book.. and you know what they say.. Books are always better. I made a pact to say I wouldn't watch it until I had finished the book which within 24 hours of having it in my house it was out of it's case and in my DVD player. Those who know me well know I don't wait for anything. I even allow my kids to open a present Christmas eve just because I want to. I watched the movie that night and again boxing day (in case I missed any parts) and now I am reading the book. I just can't put it down. Even knowing most of the important parts I am still finding myself reading in bed with a torch. I feel like a child trying to stay quiet not to wake my parents up.

I would have to say the movie was great.. but the book was definitely better!
