41817 I read this a couple of years ago, and Nina, I did watch the BBC version which liked, but I had not seen a stage play not long before which was amazing, so I think the BBC series suffered by comparison for me. I'm thinking of listening to it for this if I get time. I do love it.

41817 I'm slightly behind, 7 of 18, I', reading War and Peace at the moment for a read-along, and getting through Barcester Towers. I'm sure I'll catch up soon.
41817 I started this last night. I agree that the stories are not scary, they are mildly spooky, I'm fine with that though, enjoying the stories. I remember few of them being read by Christopher Lee for the BBC one Christmas. Must see if I can find them anywhere.

41817 I have also been reading it, but had not really noticed the lack of discussion, or thought perhaps I was early. Very busy at the moment and making slow progress, but enjoyable so far

41817 I've just finished Red Pottage by Mary Cholmondeley A 5 star read for me, I loved it.

Also reading The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (Sherlock Holmes #3) by Arthur Conan Doyle
