Recently, my pastor had a Men of Faith session at church covered in three parts. The main part of it was setting goals. The cliche has been true with me that says, "What doesn't get scheduled won't get done." So I finally started putting a planner to use that I've had for 2 years but have been slack in using it. Since then, I have made a reading schedule and a writing schedule to determine what will be worked on every day. Obviously, I don't know what your life entails, but this has been working for me. Although, sometimes other pressing matters beg attention. It's a working progress!
Scott, the main page that has the What is Truth part comes from a Gospel tract that my pastor wrote. I want my visitors to know for sure where they will go when they die. My blog posts are towards the bottom of the page. I believe that writing can be developed by anyone. I'm still learning some things. Of course, I can't do it without God's help, since we are unable to do anything apart from the vine. I believe it's a talent that others may need to develop longer. No mark against them, everyone has their own pace.
My book can be found as a paperback version on Amazon. I'm working on making it available as an ebook. Thank you for reading. I hope that it'll be a blessing to you. If so, please share it with your friends.
Hello, I'm Michael from Anchorage, Alaska. I served in the army for four years on active duty. I am a graduate of Fairhaven Baptist College with a major in pastoral theology and a minor in music. I published my first book, which I'll detail in the book reviews thread, six years ago. Last year, I revised it and republished it through another publisher. Six years ago, God called me to be a missionary to Capitol Hill to our politicians. I plan to move near the DC area next August. In the meantime, I work full-time and am paying off debt and saving for my move down to northern Virginia and staying busy writing. I have a devotional blog that I started in late January. It's mwlarson24.wixsite.com/rigw. I am trying to post one blog a month. I hope that my writings will be a blessing and a help to you.
