More movie plans at the moment than TV. A Facebook game called Catch a Killer that launches next week I believe. But the Cross movie will probably hit the big screen next.

Well, she got a makeover at one point, but dirty blonde is how I picture her.

Glad to hear it Meagan, and thanks for writing. Have you checked out my site readkiddoread.com? Might come in handy finding some quality read-alouds for those tots you mentioned.

Hi Noelle--I just wrote a bit about this in the Alex Cross thread, if you want to browse on over.

Outline before you start writing--it works wonders.

When I first started out, I used to write long descriptions and longer chapters--but then I started experimenting with a new style. I found skipping over lots of detail made it easier to insert my characters into the action, more immediate and more fun I think. It seemed to click with a lot of people and I kept going with that. Just my take on it and how I developed my own style.

Wish I could now, but we'll put a teaser up on JamesPatterson.com or my Facebook fan page in January or so...

Hi Ishmael--glad to know you're enjoying MDW. I put a lot of work into it. I see a lot of your posts (though you guys are way too fast and tech savvy for me!) and everything that goes onto the site from the publisher's end I see. I love how it's thriving, I love the creativity coming out of it. We're going to do something very soon with video submissions, if you're up for making some videos.
As for all the ANGEL plot questions... c'mon, man, you're going to have to wait til Valentines Day, I can't give out any spoilers!
Tell everyone over there I said hi.

When the Wind Blows was so enjoyable, I decided to make a spinoff of sorts, and Max was born.
Do you write already? Your comment/question was so prolific, I'd say chances are pretty high you'd be a great writer, if not already! Keep it up.

When I do write with co-authors, I try to get the big idea across to them and they come back with some of the details. We go back and forth like this, in outline form, filling in the rest. They each add a new perspective to my characters--Gabrielle Charbonnet has quite a wit, and Michael Ledwidge knows how to spin an action scene.

All I can say is... be careful Dani!

Definitely. Expect to see the doors open to Private London, Private Berlin in the future. I'm working on both of those now.

It's the one thing that makes me sing.

You're quick! Next Cross is next year, in November.

I know, right? Blame the scientists, not me.

Loads, hopefully.

The idea for Witch & Wizard formulated out of imagining a world where all peoples' freedoms were taken away. Can you imagine? Not being able to voice your opinion, to make or enjoy music or books? I found it terrifying, and so I had to write about it.

The second installment of W&W is called The Gift, and it's releasing right around the corner...

One, outline. It really helps. Anything that you're writing. Second, have fun with it. Write lots. You can take out what you don't like later, just get it all down.

Of course, go for it. Why the fear of agists?
