Darius shrugged. This was one of his first times actually going on an adventure with the group. “Apparently never.”

He caught the contraption easily and stared down at it, his eyebrows pulling together. “I’m guessing you don’t know how it works?”

Ahhhhhh. I want to see Hamilton so bad. I’m sorry you didn’t get tickets!

“I haven’t seen her in a while,” she answered with a shake of her head. It had been a while since she had last talked to Clarissa - she had been unusually preoccupied with the students in her own House and hadn't had much time to talk with those who weren't causing any trouble. Jasmine smiled as she listened to Kade talk about her - it was beyond clear that they had a deep connection. “I’m not surprised to hear it,” she told him with a small laugh.

Jasmine’s gaze flickered up as she heard someone walk into the common room and it landed on Ember who had slumped in a chair. She recognized the girl as one of the many fifth years, but she hadn’t actually talked to her much. She wasn’t a trouble maker and hadn’t really needed her help at all. “I’ll be back,” she told Kade with a small smile before rising and making her way towards Ember.

“Ember, right?” she asked with a smile. She knew the girls name well enough but wanted to make sure that the girl knew she could feel comfortable around her.

((Oh my goodness where did all these new people come from? We don’t have much of a plot going on, to be honest. We sort of make things up as we go along, which isn’t always the best approach.))

Darius looked over at Drew, his forehead creasing as his eyebrows pulled together and his lips turned down into the slightest frown. “I thought we all heard it,” he replied slowly as he continued to make his way down the tunnel, which was now starting to slope upwards. “Isn’t that why we were walking this way?”

He had only known the boy for a little while, but sometimes he was a bit uncertain about Drew. Nevertheless, he enjoyed his company; though he would never admit it.

"We were trying to follow the humming, weren't we?" Darius asked, absently poking at the moss himself. Herbology was far from his best subject, so he had absolutely no clue what kind of moss was on the tunnel walls. For all her knew it was actually bad that they were poking it so much.

((We had one. I completely forgot what it was though. Also everyone disappeared again.))

Darius raised an eyebrow at Katie when she walked into the wall, holding back a snort of his own. His attention was quickly captured by the gold carvings, and he looked at the others. "I'll take that as a sign," he said with a shrug, peering down the tunnel. He figured that following the carvings was a better idea than walking blindly through the tunnel was. At least it was sure to lead them somewhere.

"Pray tell me, what else could we use it for?" Darius asked, raising an eyebrow. He had abandoned his space on the couch and walked over towards where Drew and Christina were at, his blue eyes regarding the girl curiously.

Jasmine watched as everyone gathered around the chess pieces, glancing almost apologetically back at Adrianna. "They don't do well at following instructions," she told the girl.

Unfortunately I'm not at the park anymore. Also I'm pretty sure my parents would stop me from getting very far.

I'll just climb the building and get on the dragon. No big deal.

I could live in Diagon Alley, y'all. I really could.

Darius couldn't help but laugh and he stopped walking, looking over his shoulder at where Drew was still lying on the ground. "Get up already," he told the boy with a smirk. "What happened to your sense of adventure?"

((Flowering. I just noticed it says he was flowering instead of glowering. And I can't even edit lmao))

Darius glared at Adrianna, doing his best not to look back at Drew. "You're both insufferable," he declared. Though his gaze shifted so that he wasn't looking at either of them he was still flowering.

"Truth or dare?" Jasmine asked with a raise of an eyebrow, trying to ignore everything else that was going on. She sat on a chair that rested between Darius' and Adrianna's couches. "That could be interesting."

His gaze landed on Drew again and an amused smirk found its way onto his lips. "Gladly," he answered as he walked further into the tunnel. His wand offered little light in the dark tunnel and he hadn't yet spotted the symbol again.

"I'd rather not," Darius replied, walking over to one of the couches that had magically appeared. "Although I must admit, the idea of strangling you with it is appealing."
