I just wanted to announce that my true crime memoir, Luggage By Kroger, has been named a finalist in ForeWord Magazine's 2008 Book-of-the-Year awards for small press and independently published books from last year. It is one of only three true crime genre titles among the 668 finalists culled from a total of 1400 entries. The magazine will announce its final awards May 29 at BookExpo America in New York.
