Awwwww, such a fun age! I have a friend with a 4 year old grandaughter and she associate me with reading (or playing with my iphone...which I have downloaded books for her!lol) So everytime I go over, she grabs the phone or a book. I love getting to share that with her, especially since my daughter is older and reading books on her own:D

Okay, even though I don't think it had said (view spoiler)[ He was her dad, it was pretty obvious, with all the vamp references and her attitude and general dislike of him! (hide spoiler)] it's just sometimes Andrews writes like we should just know and understand things, then I think... Did I miss something!lol I'm really getting into this series now, and starting to see the appeal of Curran!

So first of all she just walked inside a large living tortoise. Weird. Anyways...I have a question. I feel like I missed something about her heritage. I know there has been a lot of eluding to it, and I have a couple of therories but she just made a comment about (view spoiler)[ being able to control vampires, but she said it so nochalantly like it had been mentioned before, but I must have missed that. So I'm right at halfway thru 2nd book, has she revealed what exactly she is and I missed it? I know she talks about burning her blood and things of that nature, but I just keep getting confused! If it's going to be revealed later that's fine, I feel easily lost while I'm reading this and then I waste time going back and re-reading! (hide spoiler)] I know when you read a series sometimes it's hard to remember when exactly certain things happen in the sceme of things, but I thought you might know if it's just a bunch of little comments, or a big reveal...will I know it when it comes out?

On another note...Are you having any problems with the group? My notifications are still really messed up, but at least I have been able to post today. I know other have been having lots of trouble, and the group has hardly had any activity!grrrrr It's driving me crazy! But I noticed you have been able to post okay today also, so I thought I would ask about your notifications.

Should I wait to read Curran's PoV after I finish all of the books? I have to say I'm already really liking the 2nd books:D

Does the romance between them pick up soon, or more in the last book or so? I had a hard time at first with all the world building stuff, the magic fluxs, and the cars and all that stuff, but it got easier as the book went on.

I haven't read the Atlantis books, but I have heard that it's not one of her best series. People seem to like it okay, just not as much as the LOTU, and Alien Huntress. The first LOTU took me a bit to get into it but once I did I was in love!

I was finally able to get into the first book:D

Hahaha! I have done that plenty of times! I know you like the LOTU series, and I really think you like this one too.

Yeah after meeting them briefly in the Fever series, it has made me want to go back and read the Highlander books:) Rin some people say that the first books weren't very good and you could really start later in the series when the McKelters come in (book 4???) what do you think?
