37113 Let me reiterate that you're so awesome for doing this. I adore TMI and CA, and none of my questions really regard the books themselves simply because I've read them so many times that I've answered most of my questions, lol.

Do you ever write out of order, since you outline so extensively? If a certain scene in the middle of a book isn't working right or there's some kind of writer's block there, do you ever skip ahead to another scene later in the novel? Or even skip to a scene in one of the next novels, since you have those outlined too?

If not, and you write everything chronologically, what point are you at right now in both series?

Thanks you so much!

37113 **SPOILER FOR CLOCKWORK ANGEL. SORT OF**

I think Will is somehow cursed. Something along the lines of "Anyone I love will die/have something terrible befall them." It would explain why he pushes people away purposefully, but seems to be torturing himself every time he does it. It would also explain him saying "I have lost everything" after Tessa convinces him he's alive-- he's afraid that he let some of his love seep through and is worried that his curse will affect her. And then he tries to turn love into lust, with that scene towards the end, to save her, but hates himself for hurting her.

*flails* This isn't really a question. I don't want to know. Well, I do. But I don't! But I have to know! No, no, I should wait. But...

37113 Vampyrelover: "Why isn't Will and Tessa's relationship like Clary and Jace's?"

Not to steal Cassandra's thunder, but Will isn't Jace and Tessa isn't Clary. ;) They're different people thus different relationships will result.

Anyway, HUGE fan of your books-- I went into a state of deep melancholy after finishing CoG and was ecstatic to find out your where writing TMI Cycle 2, plus ID!

My question is about your writing process-- how far ahead have you outlined/planned in both series? Are you more of a "write-as-I-go" author, or do you map out a whole series before writing? You must have planned pretty extensively for CoB, CoA, and CoG, since the end had to tie in with such small details in the first books, especially regarding Jace. Do you know already who's going to die in TMI Cycle 2, and CPrince and CPrincess?

Thanks, and I can't wait for the CoFA!
