Hi Connie, everything talks about it being McCarthy era, but I can't tell how much it features / directs the narrative. My feeling is, with characters on both sides of the political spectrum, it probably works, but it is a little unclear.

I have already hit the part of the season where I am juggling books, looking at what i had selected, what I am actually interested in reading this season, and seeing what is going to work and what isn't. This is about two weeks early, lol.
