I wish I could take credit for it but I "borrowed" it from another task maker on another challenge board. ;)

The Likeness
This is the second book in the Dublin Murder Squad series by Tana French. The main focus in this story is not Rob Ryan but his ex-partner, Cassie Maddox. Cassie is thrown undercover to live with possible murder suspects. The novel is filled with well defined characters each with their own personality, backstory, and motives. The combination of Tana French's words and Heather O'Neill's narration brought the story to life for me. I highly recommend the audiobook version. There was one downside to listening to the audio version...because of the regular use of the f-word in French's writing, I was a bit limited to when I could "listen" without earphones. ;)
