35559 How about if everyone puts 2-3 of your favorites and then we do a vote. Mine would be

Tequila Mockingbird
Wok on the Wilde Side
Of Rice and Ramen

Ramen restaurants are becoming pretty popular!

I also like Turnip the Beet but that might be more for a health food restaurant.

35559 Hello ladies! I for one am so excited to play this one again! It was quite complex but fun looking for foods and that vinegar! lol I am hoping I will remember a lot from the last time but if not, it'll come.

We have an awesome team! Amanda, I sent you a friend request. Everyone else, we're already friends.

I'll do a brief intro as most of you know me already.

I'm a retired high school teacher who taught English for 25 years, yearbook for 18-19 years, and multicultural literature for 5-6 years.

I'm a mother of 5 grown children, 3 girls and 2 boys. I have 22 grandchildren, 12 boys, 10 girls, and I have 5 greats, 3 boys and 2 girls but in December it will be 3 girls :) I also have 2 dogs, Jazzy, a bichon, and Rocky, a border collie/lab mix found in a box on the side of the road with his 4 siblings just abandoned at approximately 5 weeks of age. My daughter found the box and we rescued Rocky even though we had 2 other dogs at the time. Buddy has since died :( but we love our fur babies.

Favorite genres: historical fiction, mystery, psychological thriller/thriller, romance but not erotica. I've read erotica but I rarely, if ever, found any to be 4-5 star books for me.

OK, down to business! We need a team name other than TBD Soon! lol

I found a few so here goes:
Wok N' Roll
Gochew Grill
Thai One On
Thai the Knot
Lettuce Eat
Thai Us Up
Turnip the Beet
Lord of the Fries

Tammie's Ideas:
Tequila Mockingbird
Custard’s Last Stand
Lettus Eat
Garden of Eaten’

Any other suggestions are welcome!
35559 We have our team finalized but no team name as of now:

35559 Captain(s), I read a historical fiction book for Battleships and posted it in the completed thread. Do I also add it to the SS?

No worries, we won't wait that long! Just waiting to hear from one more member who I think is sick or crazy busy at work. lol
35559 We currently have 5 confirmed teammates plus another person whose response we're waiting to get. If for some reason she's unable to play we will be looking for another partner. Just posting here as of now but haven't added us yet until we have our 6th person confirmed.

35559 We're allowed to read NetGalley books that aren't published yet, right? I'm starting A Burning Obsession by Mike Omer

I added the book weeks ago and have been waiting for that monster but I'm late seeing it. But I am glad that you enjoyed it! I'll definitely read it if we get the monster again. I can't believe that I missed reading for Sphinx.

I hope I don't offend anyone by saying this lest someone else shares the same last name, but when I was teaching I was looking for a teacher and we had to search by first name. LONG story short the teacher's last name...kid you not...was Titsworth! Can you imagine teaching middle or high school with that last name? LOL

Yes, thanks, I wouldn't have put the whole part of the sentence I wrote above. I should've written the entire sentence for your enjoyment. lol

35559 Angie and Jenny, the sentence is very long but here it is: "Mussolini had done everything humanly possible to eliminate the Camorra, the Costa Nostra, the 'Ndrangheta, but like some kind of slippery, many-legged underwater creature, speared, hooked, slithering through nets..."

I think it works? And that sentence continues at with about that much more. I feel like it's written by Dickens. lol

35559 Angie, I can read From These Broken Streets that covers all of the above for Chimera IF "speared" is okay to use. I can remove my book Edgewood and use it elsewhere. Let me know.

35559 I'm reading MPG WAR for our challenge. May I use the same book for our regular MONSTER task? If so, please go ahead and put me down for The Book of Lost Names for T254 Chimera.
