I'm pretty sure my oven was made in the 70's or 80's so I'm pretty sure it is pre self cleaning. I think I've seen simple green here in Canada. I'll try it if I can find it.

Jen that is so scary! Good job on the quick thinking on closing the door. My oven is ancient so now I'm a bit paranoid but at least I know what to do.

I finished book #3 of Artemis Fowl this morning. That counts right?

I'll be finishing a #3 in a series tomorrow or Sunday. I'm also planning on reading a #1 and a #4 for sure within Emerge the Victor (not sure when they will be completed though, my #4 is over 600 pages and I am a slow reader). I have more books between #1-#3 that I can also read if needed, just not right away.

To clarify, if we've started a book already, but wait until Emerge the Victor has started to finish it, we can count it for whatever we want right? But if we finish it before the start of Emerge the Victor, we can only trade it for gold. Is that correct? Or do books used for the weapon need to be started after the official start of Emerge the Victor?

Emerge the Victor rules have been posted. It looks like we'll need lots of series books.

Sherri, are you still planning to read Thug Notes? I got Notes of a Dirty Old Man on Overdrive and it's pretty short so I think I should be able to finish it by the end. Or are we leaving this labour and should I focus on others?

I just finished Madame Bovary for 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die.

I didn't really like it. I found Emma really annoying.

I'm finished Ready Player One! Which means that we're done with Labour 8, the last of the original labours.

I'm also working on A Demon Bound and will have that done by Friday.

Thanks for the tip Jen. I'll start A Demon Bound.

I'm also still working on Ready Player One, but since it's on audio book, I'm a bit slow. Under 4 hours to go though!

I just finished , which I think finished up Bonus round 2.

As far as I can see, we don't have any open slots until the next bonus. Is that right?
